At Maanesten, every design begins with an idea born of mythology, nature and dream images. From the first sketches in Copenhagen to the final finish in the workshop in India, every piece of jewellery is crafted with care and poetry.

Maanestens responsibility
At Maanesten, it's not just about jewellery, but about people, materials and meaningful choices. Since our inception in 2010, we have worked closely with our partner in Jaipur to ensure good working conditions, respect for the environment, production and long-lasting jewellery.

Delivery time is up to 5 business days. PLEASE NOTE! During busy sales periods and over Christmas, delivery time may be up to 10 business days.
For orders placed after 12:00 noon, delivery time will be extended by one business day.

14-day exchange and return policy
At Maanesten, you have a 14-day right of return, regardless of whether you shop online or in-store. The item must be unused and returned in its original packaging or box.
Returns can be made in one of our stores with a receipt or order confirmation – or by sending the item back as a business parcel to our warehouse.
If the item has an exchange label, it can be exchanged within the specified period for another item or a credit note. If you want a refund, you will need a receipt or order confirmation.

Real jewellery is made of gold and silver
We have chosen to work with gold and silver, as these are precious materials with the right properties for creating and shaping jewellery.
We believe that jewellery should feel and look organic. Each of our pieces of jewellery is handmade by goldsmiths, who carefully forge and craft silver and gold into unique shapes. This gives the jewellery an organic and natural look, unlike prefabricated jewellery made from materials such as copper, steel and stainless steel, which many people use. Here, it is clear that the jewellery does not have the organic and natural look that silver and gold have. We consider a piece of jewellery to be a small work of art that helps to highlight your personality.
We also make mistakes
Even though we have been creating jewellery and accessories for many years and have extensive experience with all the processes and our suppliers, mistakes are inevitable. It could be a particular piece of jewellery that is more fragile than our designers intended, an accessory with poor stitching, or something else entirely.
What they all have in common is that we take it very seriously when it happens and act immediately to get it changed. This also applies if you, as a customer, have had bad luck with one of our products, in which case you can always contact our customer service team, who will help you solve the problem.

If you copy us, we will come after you
When our talented designers and goldsmiths create Maanesten jewellery and accessories, it is a very demanding process where they spend many hours drawing, sewing, painting, forging, etc. And only the best designs make it through our critical eye. They become the jewellery and accessories that can be purchased in our stores, webshop, etc.
Unfortunately, we find that there are a number of jewellery brands in Denmark and abroad that copy our jewellery, jewellery parts and accessories and do not respect the many hours and the amount of work we have put into creating our collections. That is why all our jewellery, jewellery parts and accessories are also EU-patented, which means that we have full ownership of our designs and that if a jewellery brand or manufacturer copies us, we have very strong evidence against them in connection with a summons or a lawsuit.
We work with some of the most talented IP (intellectual property) lawyers, and every day they keep a close eye on whether anyone is infringing our design rights.
