Icons Design Process

The most iconic designs through time

Every time our highly skilled designers and goldsmiths create a collection, there are always some pieces of jewelry that shine brighter than others. These handmade pieces have become Maanesten Icons and will always be available to purchase from us.

A labor of love
Maanesten is about the love between two people and the love of jewelry. The jewelry adventure began in 2010, when jewelry designer Lotte Callesen and creative director Henrik Callesen decided that they wanted to create a spiritual jewelry brand, where each piece of jewelry has a design story and an energy that empowers the wearer.

Since then, Maanesten has grown to include many more employees, its own stores, and hundreds of retailers in Denmark and abroad.

Much has changed, but the passion and inspiration behind the collections remain the same. The organic shapes, the free imagination, everything from the shape of a seashell to the scene just before dreams begin. Spirituality is the backbone of the entire company, from production to products, a way of thinking where everything is connected. In this way, the energies and powers of the materials emphasize the strength of women and connect the inner and outer worlds.
We make mistakes too
Even though we have been creating jewelry and accessories for many years and have extensive experience with all processes and our suppliers, mistakes are inevitable. It could be a particular piece of jewelry that is more fragile than our designers intended, an accessory with poor stitching, or something else entirely. What they all have in common is that we take it very seriously when it happens and act immediately to get it changed. This also applies if you, as a customer, have had bad luck with one of our products, in which case you can always contact our customer service team, who will help you solve the problem.
