A labor of love
Maanesten is about the love between two people and the love of jewelry. The jewelry adventure began in 2010, when jewelry designer Lotte Callesen and creative director Henrik Callesen decided to create a spiritual jewelry brand where each piece of jewelry has a design story and an energy that empowers the wearer. Since then, Maanesten has grown to include many more employees, its own stores, and hundreds of retailers in Denmark and abroad. Much has changed, but the passion and inspiration behind the collections remain the same. The organic shapes, the free imagination, everything from the shape of a seashell to the scene just before dreams begin. Spirituality is the backbone of the entire company, from production to products, a way of thinking where everything is connected. In this way, the energies and powers of the materials emphasize the strength of women and connect the inner and outer worlds.
