The name Maanesten is inspired by the captivating crystal, moonstone. A stone that comes in a multitude of magical colours and with a glow that reflects the moon's own light. When you look closely at it, it is as if the moon's mysterious energy glitters from within. Moonstone is said to contain the power of the moon: it brings light, balance and healing, and lifts the spirit in a busy and down-to-earth world. It is an eternal source of inspiration for us, and therefore also a stone that we use again and again in our jewellery.

Over time, our universe has expanded to embrace other crystals, semi-precious stones and precious stones — each with their own meaning, energy and strength.
